We were sailing on our ship, The Rover, on the 21st of August 1985, when we ran into a Hurricane named Gloria. She ran us aground on the banks of the Delaware River damaging the Rover severly. We soon learned we had been shipwrecked in Philadelphia, the best eastern sea board city for Music, Food & Drinkin'. While attempting to make repairs to the Rover, unsuccessfully, we have been stuck here for 20 years. In that time we realized that Philadelphia did not have a radio station for the kind of Alternative Rock we liked. We searched & searched and none were found. We finally decided to transform the Rover into a Radio Broadcast Ship.... Now you have Philly Pirate Rock. Playing alls kinds of Indie Rock, Folk, Punk Rock, Rockabilly, Folk Rock, Blues, Country Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, & of Course Celtic Rock.
